In Aesop’s fable, The Serpent and the File, a snake slithers into a carpenter’s shop, where his skin is pricked by a heavy iron file. Mistaking the file for an enemy, the serpent turns in rage and attacks it with his fangs. But the serpent cannot harm the iron file, and his wrath soon dissipates. The moral of this story is that it’s useless to attack the insensible. It’s something to keep in mind today when the suspicious Scorpio Moon has an aggravating encounter with hostile Mars, causing an increased sensitivity to feeling emotionally attacked. Instead of letting things get to you today, take a moment to see if the situation truly warrants a defensive response.
