Measuring nearly 3,000 feet, the dam has likely been under construction for over 30 years by several generations of beavers. And it’s still growing. One ecologist noted that the beavers are “re-engineering the landscape.” As today’s Moon traverses the expansive sign of Sagittarius, consider where you could benefit from some growth. The law of correspondence states that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. Obviously, the beavers in Canada didn’t dream of building the world’s biggest dam. But humans possess the intelligence and free will to manifest our goals. With today’s optimistic Sagittarius Moon, consider how you can “re-engineer your landscape” by changing your outlook.

Today is the Full Moon in Sagittarius, opposing the Sun in Gemini. Sagittarius and Gemini are mutable signs, known for their changeable nature. Both need variety, enjoy travel, and want to learn, but in different ways. Gemini is an air sign that relies on facts; as a fire sign, Sagittarius trusts intuition instead. Gemini pursues knowledge based on reason; Sagittarius seeks the meaning behind it all. Both signs like traveling, but Sagittarius is a globetrotter while Gemini sticks closer to home. In Aesop’s fable, The Serpent and the File, a snake slithers into a carpenter’s shop, where his skin is pricked by a heavy iron file. Mistaking the file for an enemy, the serpent turns in rage and attacks it with his fangs. But the serpent cannot harm the iron file, and his wrath soon dissipates. The moral of this story is that it’s useless to attack the insensible. It’s something to keep in mind today when the suspicious Scorpio Moon has an aggravating encounter with hostile Mars, causing an increased sensitivity to feeling emotionally attacked. Instead of letting things get to you today, take a moment to see if the situation truly warrants a defensive response.
